Dropshipping SEO following Google standards

SEO is worth mentioning when talking about marketing for dropshipping businesses. Without it, your online presence would suffer.

However, it’s challenging to implement dropshipping SEO since it takes too much time and effort but the result could not be transparent as Ads. Not to mention that the ratio of text to code is low while the products’ description is not long enough, whereas when ranking content, Google is highly prioritizing these extended contents. Adding to that is the difficulty of modifying the small text you have to fit Google’s standards.

However, you should get to know these Google SEO standards which is the three key standards below to apply for a better-ranking store

1. Long Content

Google prefers content that’s 2000+ words, which is the minimum length of articles that can rank on the first page of Google search results.

However, most dropshipping product pages don’t have more than 300 words of text. The majority of the content is about product descriptions; thus, there’s little room for keyword modification, headings, etc. Therefore, you should make the best use of customer reviews and testimonials, user guides and tutorials, notice, and product comparisons.

2. Imagery

Google likes illustrative content, including everything from image tags to specific sizes, and how you use keywords in the tagline.

In dropshipping stores, imagery can be used as extensively as you need to provide detailed visual product descriptions to your customers. Several pictures are required to show different angles of your products. With the right product photo, you can persuade someone into wanting the product more.

3. Credible Backlinks

Google loves backlinks. The more backlinks you’ve got, the better for your site.

Also, you should note that Google ranks the backlinks coming to your site. For example, if a highly authorized website links back to you, then that backlink matters. However, you would get almost no benefit from the backlink of an unpopular website with bad SEO.

With a dropshipping store, you want backlinks that review your store (of course, from a positive perspective). Also, backlinks from high-ranking news sites as part of a PR campaign will surely do you good.
