Weekly update from ShopBase/PrintBase – July Week #1, 2021

Thank you for being a part of the ShopBase/PrintBase community. We would like to notify you about some changes:

         1. New Value-Added Tax rules for e-commerce updates

According to the new VAT rules applied for European cross-border e-commerce, from July 1, 2021, all goods imported from outside the EU will be imposed VAT. Merchants, therefore, are responsible for paying taxes for all orders shipped to the EU.

We always try to provide the most beneficial solution to minimize costs for merchants and buyers, hence instead of paying the tax fee (which is equivalent to 20-30% of the value of the goods), ShopBase/PrintBase will adjust the International shipping fees as followed:

*** Note: The new shipping fees will be applied on July 1, 2021. Accordingly, the displayed price on packages may differ from the product’s selling price.

    2. Shipping fee adjustment for all orders to Mexico

To ensure the service quality enhancement, taking effect from July 02, 2021, the international shipping fee for all products shipped to Mexico will be added US $5.

Please note that the adjustment is temporary. We have been negotiating with our manufacturers to offer the most beneficial solution for you. We will notify you of further updates as soon as possible.

     3. Notice of Shipping Fee Adjustment for Polo Shirts

With a commitment to provide customers with the highest quality products, ShopBase/PrintBase had switched to a thicker fabric and updated the size chart for Polo Shirt Black and Polo Shirt White. This leads to a slight increase in product weight. Therefore, from July 07, 2021, ShopBase/PrintBase regrets to inform you that we will adjust the shipping fees for Polo Shirts to the US as below:

We always put our clients’ needs first. We have been negotiating with our manufacturers to find the most beneficial solution for you. We will notify you of further updates as soon as possible.
